Coach Wallace is the current Head Coach at Grapevine High School. Coach Wallace helped lead the Mustangs to the Conference 5A State Finals in 2021 and Semi-Finals in 2020. While in her time at GHS, she has led the Mustangs to numerous regional tournament appearances, district championships, and playoff appearances. She is so pleased to be a part of GCISD and is looking forward to another great season in 2024 with the Mustangs. Coach Wallace lives in Grapevine with her son, Jackson. Robyn played collegiate volleyball and finished her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Tarleton State University. She grew up in Iowa Park, TX where she was a multisport athlete, playing volleyball, basketball, and track.
Kelli Barnett Assistant Coach
Coach Kelli Barnett is taking over a brand new program in Wichita Falls ISD. She will be the Head Volleyball Coach at WF Memorial in 2024! #Go MAVS Coach Barnett was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas where she graduated from Rider High School in 2016, and played volleyball for 10 years. Her love for volleyball continued while playing on the Oklahoma State University Club Team. Coach Barnett graduated from Midwestern State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2020 and Master's of Educational Leadership in 2023.
Kelli is a tremendous coach and we are so excited to have her as a part of our team.
Maddie Hood Assistant Coach
Coach Hood is entering her first year at GHS, and her 5th year coaching and teaching math. Coach Hood attended Coppell High School where she played volleyball. Her coaching career began shortly after high school when she began coaching club volleyball through college. She has assisted several teams which made Girls Junior National Championship runs. She attended the University of North Texas and graduated in 2021 with her Masters in Business Administration.
This year, Coach Hood will be teaching Algebra I at GHS. She is excited to help lead the GHS Volleyball Program under her former high school coach, Robyn Wallace!
